Directly after the cessation of the Second World War the public started to consider that the world’s core principles are simple and logical . Both global politics and social relations were relying on the ideas of progress , beneficial innovations , trust in the logical , enlightenment , hi-tech progress , and the knowledge of how to explain any phenomenon from a rational standpoint . Nevertheless , starting from the second half of the 60’s, the world commenced to deteriorate and currently , 40 years after , we dwell in a different kind of reality .
We easily note those innovations which are given us by new technology, but we almost never are aware of the fact that there are some ideas which the author has put behind those solutions . The nature of the upcoming adjustment was at first spotted by those people, who more often than not lived ahead of their time – philosophers and authors. Among the many authors whose books have served for entertainment , there have been a few who have given the humankind a new picture of the future . They have more effectively than others other people molded and worded authentic suggestions and have ultimately created formed a new intelligent and emotional grounding of the future. They have seen issues in the mundane of our lives and have unveiled a number of problems, which were going on without being noted . They have aided us to think of the new challenges , and sent us new ambitions .
These were the authors who have shaped the minds of the entire generation, which has observed the period of dramatic change; change, which was perceived as anarchy at the start of the 21 first century. They have turned our attention to the most vital questions of the previous epoch ; those dilemmas , which the humankind , having gone through the global wars and unprecedented sufferings , was reluctant to face . In the end they were raising the most important question “What will happen in the future”?

They have all greatly impacted literature of their period, have showed looks and dilemmas which were essential to their countries and the times they were living in, and have motivated the audience meditate on the existing set of moral, having them realize that it is far from being genuine. One of the most interesting angle of their writing is that in mostly they have risen the audience attention in books and written matter. In this aspect one of the most exciting success stories is that of a well known author Anne Bronte .
The achievement of Joan Rowling can be named phenomenal as she has found herself to be the first writer in the world to make $1 billion by writing fairytales. She is now spending a great part of her profit on charity, fighting poverty and diseases. The plot of the book was created while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first decided to bring out her book, she has given her 1500 pounds together with a kind advice — to find a permanent job. He was unaware of the fact that the young writer would be able to make money of writing. Joann has demonstrated the opposite - having produced a number of unparalleled fairytales, she has motivated the so-called non-reading generation get back to reading.
This paper is not able to enumerate and more or less exactly list all authors who have offered their contribution to the nowadays literature. They have been working and putting ideas directly into the minds of the millions, and therefore were influencing the future. Thus, as we can see, these writers were not creating for enjoyment only, but they were also playing a considerable part in shaping the culture and the views of a society of the 20th century.
